How to use Multiple Print Blocks on Blockly
In the previous module, we learned how to output a piece of text. When we did, that text appeared on one line. What if we want to display text on separate lines? We can accomplish this by using multiple print blocks.
First, click on the Text tab. Drag and drop the print block. Type “Hello”.
Drag another print block and place it under the existing print block. Type “World”.
Run the program. You’ll notice that the 2 words will be printed on separate lines.
The print block produces a line break at the end, so by using multiple print blocks, we can display text on multiple lines.
Note: You can also duplicate blocks by right-clicking on blocks and clicking duplicate OR click on a block and press Ctrl-C + Ctrl-V (or Cmd-C + Cmd-V).
