4 Ways of Patching Mobile Platforms and Applications
In this article, I want to talk about some of the ways of patching mobile platforms and applications which I have talked about in my previous articles.
I said it in my previous articles that most software developers are always eager to rush to market. Because of that, some of them do not take time to harden their applications. That is why I said it is important to always download updates when they are available.
All the mobile platforms and applications should be updated regularly with the patches released by the vendor.
Patches enhance the performance of a mobile device, updates the operating system, fixes security holes and bugs among others.
Here are the ways to go about it.
- Download your phone’s update to your mobile device to install the patch.
- Back up all your data and files on your mobile phone.
- Install the patch file to your device.
- Turn off your mobile for 5 to 10 minutes before you start using the mobile phone.
